Gluten/Dairy Free Snacks

A few ideas of snacks when you are eating gluten and dairy free;
  • Square rice cakes with organic nut butters and honey or jam. Kelsey's fav is 2 square rice cakes together with organic peanut butter, cinnamon, and slices of organic banana.
  • Vegetables with dips; hummus, guacamole, salsa, nut butters,etc
  • Smoothies; Start with some fruits and/or vegetables-fresh or frozen, add a liquid-rice or almond milk work well, you can add protein powders, ice, etc. Blend well and serve right away.
  • Rice crackers or chips, there are so many kinds in the grocery store
  • Fruit and nuts/seeds
  • Gluten free frozen waffle warmed up in toaster oven
  • Applesauce
  • Gluten free muffins
  • Gluten free cereal with rice or almond milk
  • Leftovers; heating up some leftover soup, casserole, etc.
  • banana soft serve icecream or non dairy icecream in a gluten free cone or bowl
  • Homemade pickles or beets
  • Fresh juice made in juicer
